Why skiers love Grandvalira

The biggest ski area in the Pyrenees — seven linked sectors on one lift pass, high in the mountains of Andorra.

The largest in the Pyrenees

210 km of pistes and 139 runs — more skiing than anywhere else in the range.

Seven sectors, one pass

Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig, Soldeu, El Tarter, Canillo, El Peretol and Encamp, all linked on snow.

High and wide open

Pistes run from 1,710 m to 2,640 m, with most of the domain sitting well above the treeline.

Snow you can count on

About 1,350 snow cannons cover some 70% of the domain, so the season holds from December into April.

World Cup slopes

The Avet piste at Soldeu hosted the Alpine Ski World Cup finals, and it is open to everyone the rest of the season.

Right on the French border

Pas de la Casa sits at the frontier, with Andorra’s low-tax shopping a few steps from the piste.
